A Better Shooting Range Experience

Purposeful Armament pushes self-reliance and self-improvement in many aspects. The one that is the most fun to talk about, and what is one of our core elements, is shooting. Unfortunately, many ranges are unnecessarily strict when it comes to what you are able to train. Indoor ranges don’t let you rapid fire, draw from a holster or even practice any movement. Some outdoor ranges might let you do these, but they often have exclusive memberships that are difficult to get or are not configured in a very efficient way.

Our Plan

So here is our plan! We want to build a shooting sports complex that will tackle all of these issues. Placed in Central/South Indiana, our facility will be a place where YOU can go to train and practice your shooting skills. We plan on having twelve (12), 180 degree bays. Four 25 yard bays, four 50 yard bays, four 100 yard bays and finally a 500 yard shooting lane for longer range engagements. So here is our plan! Why Bays?

180 degree bays allow you to train to your full potential, or even train for (or host) competitions. They also allow for a more private shooting experience. Gone will be the days of having to wait for people to zero or having to waste your training time shooting around other people.

How will the range work?

The range will operate on a membership/day rate model. Members will have 9am - Dusk access 7 days a week. Just sign-up for a time slot online! We will also offer bay reservations if you prefer to have a more private shooting experience. Only 6 of our bays will be available for reservation, we will need to reserve the bay at least 48 hours in advance. If a “reservation” bay is not booked for a time slot on a particular day, the bay will operate as a normal, first come first serve shooting bay. We will also offer day rates for people who just want to shoot at the range for a day. We will also occasionally be hosting competitions for those of you interested as well as our own “Brutality” match. Competitions will not rent out the whole range, we will still have bays available so the range is always available for the general public.
