A Better Shooting Range Experience
Purposeful Armament pushes self-reliance and self-improvement in many aspects. The one that is the most fun to talk about, and one of our core elements, is shooting. Unfortunately most ranges suck, they're unnecessarily strict, difficult to get access to and not configured optimally. This is exactly why we locked in and built our own shooting range!
How does the range work?
The P.A. Shooting Complex will have a wide variety of services that you can utilize. Here is how it all will work.
- Competitions: Our range will host Exodus Physical Shooting Competitions as well as USPSA and PCSL shooting competitions. Information on upcoming competitions will be posted and the range will be closed to for the duration of the competitions. All competitions are open to the public.
- Members Open Range Time: We offer memberships to those of you interested in consistently shooting at the PA Shooting Complex. Members will have access to the range without RSO supervision during normal hours of operation.
- Firearms Training: PA will offer multiple training classes that cover various firearms and skills. For more information click here
- Non-Member Range Time: Our range will also allow non-members to utilize the range under approved supervision. Non-members will need to be accompanied by an RSO at all times.

The Bays
The shooting bays listed below are available for private rent.
Jacob's Pit
Affectionately dubbed "The Pit", this shooting bay is the largest at the P.A. Shooting Complex. Situated at the bottom of the range this bay is 50 yards long and is perfect for larger training groups. With ample berms on 3 sides this bay is completely safe to shoot 180 degrees. Rifle and Pistol rated. Rent the whole bay for $200 per 4 hours.
Key's Corner
Named by Tristan for helping build this complex, Key's Corner offers another 50 yard shooting experience. This bay is ideal for mid-sized groups. With ample berms on 3 sides this bay is completely safe to shoot 180 degrees. Rifle and Pistol rated. Rent the whole bay for $200 per 4 hours.
Patrick's Panic Attack
A true representation of our mental states while completing this project. This bay might be the narrowest but that just makes it even more perfect for very small groups or even your own individual bay. With ample berms on 3 sides this bay is completely safe to shoot 180 degrees. Rifle and Pistol rated. Rent the whole bay for $200 per 4 hours.
Community Bay
The Community bay is slightly shorter than the other bays at about 45 yards long. It's nearly as wide as it is long meaning you can train a larger group more comfortably. With ample berms on 3 sides this bay is completely safe to shoot 180 degrees. Rifle and Pistol rated. Rent the whole bay for $200 per 4 hours.
Future Improvements
The P.A. Shooting Complex is currently in phase 1 meaning we have 3 operational pistol bays. As we continue developing, we will complete bay 4, transform the community bay into a 100 yard bay and lay gravel in all the driving areas. Our range will be continuiously imporved based on community input and needs.
